Notts County 0 Cardiff City 0
A draw sees Cardiff move down to tenth place in the league. A dull game saw neither team create many oppurtunities and in the end 0-0 was probably a fair scoreline. New boy Dean Gordon had a good debut for Cardiff City, and Kevin Nugent impressed on his return to the first team.
Notts County started off brightest with Dutch winger Marcel Cas bursting past Dean Gordon before firng in a good shot that was well saved by Neil Alexander.
Cardiffs first shot came on nine minutes when Dean Gordon hit a 25 yard shot from the left hand side.
Dean Gordon was bright putting in a few good crosses but no one could quite manage to get on the end of them.
The game stayed dull from then on, in my opinion the new players are letting the side down. The fortunes of the club will only change if the old boys are brought back (Matt Brazier, Scott McCulloch, Kurt Nogan, Dave Hughes, ) and kick out the under achievers.
